    ANTIQUE BAKELITE GOLD FILLED ROUND CHILDS EYEGLASSES
    (Use for parts?)
    I've seen a lot of these with broken bakelite - but these are intact and the lenses are perfect as well.
    One temple is in great shape.
    The second temple, as the photos show, is broken.
    The nose bridge is also chipped on the top.
    It is signed - but hard to read.  I clearly see a "D" and a "12K"
    I don't know if it is 12K or 12K filled.  (It
    DOES NOT
    say 1/20 12K - it just says 12K)
    Best guess is that these would be lovely married to another set of temples -
    or could just become part of a collection - as you often have the bakelite in bad shape.
    These were a lovely antique shop find on a little island off the coast of Maine!
